Four Weddings and a Funeral 1994

一部看了很失望的电影，完全是冲着演过《诺丁山》的hugh grant去看的。结果觉得比起《诺丁山》差远了。

他（Hugh Grant 饰）经常去参加别人的婚礼，总是迟到。其中有次婚礼上他和一个美国女人一见钟情，一夜激情后她问他是否愿意娶他，他觉得她在开玩笑。三个月后再次婚礼，她带来了新的男朋友介绍给他，他却有点后悔了。除此外他也交过一大圈女朋友，可是始终无法下定决心结婚。直到在那个美国女人的婚礼上一个老头因为心脏病发作而去世，他才开始考虑婚姻的现实意义。婚姻无非就是找一个彼此看着都还算满意，性格还合得来的人，在一起生活并且尽量快乐而已。世界上或许并不存在所谓的perfect match，怀有这种期望的人通常是孤独终老。于是他也决定结婚了，和以前众多女友里的一个，俗称鸭子脸。这是他唯一一次没有迟到的婚礼，但是在婚礼开始前，他又遇到了那个美国女人，她说她离婚了，这下搞得他方寸大乱。他一直挣扎是否要放弃现在的新娘和她结婚。于是他真的这么做了。最后有一个happy ending. 不过这也算是爱吗？我真的被老外搞糊涂了，和我们观念差别太多:-s

在这个片子里国外的婚礼简直就是sex party，太恐怖了。而且女主角居然睡过33个男人，在有男朋友的时候还和男主角XX，真的不可思议。可是男主角为什么最后还是愿意娶她呢。百思不得其解。看来国外sex都看的很开了。无语。

虽然不是很好看的电影，也有一些亮点，甚至说惟一一个亮点。一个同性恋者matthew在那个同性恋的葬礼上做的发言让人有些触动，生命很短暂，快乐就好。

其中居然也有发现大名鼎鼎的憨豆先生Mr.Bean.客串扮演1个牧师，虽然也是搞笑风格，不过乏善可陈

还有一段台词，大意说，如果2个人相爱就久了，同居了，发现慢慢变得无话可说了，那某一天男人向她求婚，结婚了就有话可说了，这或许是婚姻的意义。不是那么浪漫，看起来倒很实际。　
I’ve got a new theory about marriage. Two people are in love, they live together. And one day they run out of conversation. Totally, they can’t think of a single thing to say to each other. That’s it. Panic. Then suddenly, it occurs to the chap. That there is a way out of the deadlock.
He’ll ask her to marry him. They’ve got something to talk about for the rest of their lives.——By Gareth

为什么结婚？当然是因为彼此真正的相爱。这当然是最理想的，但是这又何其的难，芸芸众生之中，不早不晚相遇，又碰到无数的机缘巧合擦出火花，然后还要经历过大大小小的事情让彼此相知相恋，这几率比中五百万还低。那退而求其次，为结婚而结婚吧，毕竟时间不等人。如果连这个都做不到，那就只好孤独终老了。不过无论哪种，尽量快乐，因为人要是死了，所有美好所有欢乐都不复存在了。这或许就是电影想要告诉我们的吧。
